Introducing the SuperCaster 180, the newest addition to the most talked about spinning reel in the fishing tackle industry.

While the SuperCaster feature, incorporating the w-i-d-e spool design, does cast better, creates less line twist and less line memory, and can handle a large range of line, light line anglers wanted a lighter, smaller reel made for their smaller, lighter rods. The new 180 is that reel and even though it’s 1.8” diameter spool is as wide as reels in the 3000 class, it weighs in at an incredible 7.1 oz, comparable to most reels in the 500 to 1000 size, or ultra light class.

The 180 is great for extra light lines like 2 and 4 lb line, but it will also hold and handle 8 lb and 10 lb line like a champ. (Don’t tell the light line anglers about it though!)

The new SuperCaster 180 comes in both the XL and SX series.
